• I will ALWAYS love you unconditionally, forever & always.
You never have to question this. You are the love of my life. I’d die for you.
• I will ALWAYS be here for you!
I will be here when someone is mean to you, when you get your heart broken, when you need to talk or vent. I will be here for you when you fail. I will be here to build you up and congratulate you on all your successes.
• I will not ALWAYS agree with your choices.
I’m not always going to agree with you…and that’s okay. One day you will thank me for it.
• I won’t always like your friends/girlfriend/boyfriends.
It’s life. Inevitably, there will be people in your life that just won’t meet my expectations. I want you to surround yourself with good people, people who only build you up. Unfortunately, there are people who will try to bring you down-I wish to not keep those people around.
• I won’t ever mind my own business.
Your business IS my business! I won’t be the crazy mom that snoops through all your things and interferes with every choice you make, but I will be an active part of your life. I will not ignore your problems.
• I will allow you to make mistakes.
We learn from our mistakes. They help shape us into the people we become. We all make them.
• I will always encourage you!
I will never try to get in the way of your hopes and dreams. I believe you can do anything & be anything you want to be. This is not even a question in my mind. I’m your biggest fan (remember that!)
• I will give you the best life I possibly can.
Your happiness is the most important thing to me & I will do anything in my power to make sure you’re happy, no matter what sacrifices I may have to make.
• I will always be honest with you.
I won’t be doing you any favors by lying to you, sugarcoating the facts of life, or trying to pretend. You can always count on me to tell it like it is even if you don’t like what I’m saying. It is my job to guide you. It is my job to be your mentor. It is my job to help you make the right choices.
• You ARE good enough!
There will be moments in your life that you will question your self worth. You’ll wonder if you’re good enough for a person. You’ll wonder if you’re good enough at a sport or if you’re worthy of a job. Please remember that you ARE good enough! I’ve said it before and I will say it again-you can do anything you want to do, you can be anything you want to be. Do not set limits on yourself.
You. Are. Awesome.
