Halloween Witch Hat Cupcakes

Here’s another easy Halloween food idea! I love the way these turned out and they were a huge hit with the kids!

Ingredients
• Cake mix of your choice (I used vanilla)
• Frosting (I used orange frosting you get in the can, the kind that squirts out)
• Toll House Fudge Striped Cookies
• Hershey’s kisses
• Plastic spider rings (I purchased mine at a Dollar Store)
• Orange sprinkles
* If you can’t find orange frosting buy white & color it yourself with food coloring

Directions
• Bake your cupcakes according to the directions on the box
• Let the cupcakes cool completely
• Ice only one or two cupcakes at a time (otherwise your frosting will harden just a bit, making it difficult for the “hats” to stick)
• Don’t forget to use your sprinkles immediately after frosting (again, if you let the frosting sit too long before using your sprinkles they won’t stick)
• Prepare your “hats” by flipping them striped side down
• Squirt a little orange icing in the middle of your upside down cookie
• Place your Hershey’s kiss on top of this dollop of icing, press gently down
• Go ahead and put your “hat” on the cupcake
• Add your plastic spider rings for that final touch

  • WALA! It’s as easy as that!
