I Like Dead People…What’s Your Story?

What Story Will You Leave Behind?

What Story Will You Leave Behind?

I love to read obituaries. I always have, even as a young kid. As I mentioned in my first blog post, people (in general) fascinate me. We all have a story. Obituaries tell us that story, right!? Obituaries aren’t really consumed with death, it’s actually quite the opposite. Obituaries, are, in fact, full of life. We learn who people were: where they went to school, jobs they held, what churches/clubs/organizations they belonged to, what activities they liked, and my personal favorite…the list of accomplishments achieved. It’s inspiring, really.
I wonder what my obituary will say? (It certainly better mention how great my sense of humor was! Friends & Fam-please take note.)
Realistically, my obituary really wouldn’t be too exciting.
I need to change that.
I need to figure out my purpose. I need to make a difference. I want to be responsible for making a change in the world (a good one, of course). I want people to remember me.
I want people to read my obituary and think, ‘she sounds like she was an amazing person.’
